Coyle - who?

the answer is Jürgen Klinsmann.
Yeah because coyle, moyes and o'neill are so far below us lets go for klinsmann instead 8)
correct - those 3 in my opinion wouldn't be able to attract the best players - if you want mid table obscurity you'd choose them.

also I doubt very much, that those 3 could turn English football around like Klinsmann has for Germany.
Odd that you should say that, considering that amongst most Germans Joachim Low was the one who really turned things around. Klinsmann was more of a talismanic manager. The difference was made by Low hence why they've gotten better since he took over the reigns.

Klinsmann is over-rated and is a dirty, diving ex-swamp dweller.
oh, and you know this from who?

also, respect JK for what he's done in the game and leave it at that.
From reading a bit now and then and not just the usual sycophantic nonsense reporters will write about managers/ex-players they love.

Read this for a start if you think Klinsmann is such a success and then ask why he's chosen the nice cosy world of US 'soccer' instead of taking a top European job.

Haven't read the whole thread from start to finish but has Owen Coyle been mentioned ?
Not a huge name, I'll grant you ,but did wonders with Burnley and appears to have transformed Bolton onto a football team. (Take note big fat Sam)

Wenger must have a lot of time for him seeing how he lent hin Jack for 6 months, loves the passing game but maybe would be a little more pragmatic with the defensive side of the game ?

I'd be quite happy for it to be Steve Bould but if we were to turn to someone already established in the prem why not.

Listening to TalkS***e, this morning(5Live where talking Cricket/Rugby...yawn) and the journo Matt Scott from the Guardian says Sid Lowe expects Pep Guardiola to move to England to manage in the Prem League when he leaves Barca in the next 12-18months and he would prefer to manage at Arsenal not Chelsea and expects to do so.

Apparently AW is expected to move upwards and take over PH-Wood's job whilst Guardiola moves into the hot seat. 8)

Now as much as it had me salivating at the thought of him bringing over a certain Mr Messi and others I suddenly remembered our board's tighter than a crab's crack at 40 fathoms. :banghead:

I normally think it's bull when these spain-based journos come up with this stuff but Sid Lowe is pretty reliable unlike that knob Graham Hunter who talks out of
backside most of the time. He just reads Marca and then spouts it out like 1st hand knowledge or some big scoop

When Wenger goes he has to go.I mean back to France with PSG or some other club over there. How would a new manger feel with Wenger looking over his shoulder all the time?Man Utd got it wrong when they allowed Matt Busby on the board.Liverpool got it right when they didnt give Shankly a position on the board. And are you telling me Woy is happy with Dagliesh looking down on him?

Pep Guardiola - FFS

Can everyone who wants him in charge grow up a little bit - this isn't Championship Manager.

Dalglish looked great at "his" club on the back of Paisley and Fagin....but who wouldn't, just as Guardiola inherited a fantastic team and some great youth players.

Just as with Queen Kenny - take him out of that home club comfort zone and what's the chance of success. About the same as Phil Scolari I would say

Did Pep buy or produce any of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets or Messi ? Lets see how he can 'develop' Eboue, Denilson, Song and Vela. And what would happen if he asked for £30m to invest, Mr Hill Wood......

"We don't want his sort"

SteveO, think you missed this bit of my comment, it's not just the manager, it's also the players he would bring with him as happens with most moves, the manager brings players he's worked with before.

Yes we all know our tight lot would never pay for it but FFS can't we dream.

God knows our seasons going s**t enough as it is and seeing as no one that runs the club gives a shit what we think what's wrong with a little dreaming beats the usual AW has lost it, our defence is shit we are doomed I tell you........... :(  :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

As many of you know I fucking hate Wenger and I would love the *word censored* to be sacked today.

However if he were to come on one of his cuntin press conferences and say something like “yes I have got a few things wrong, I realise we need some maturity in the team. Come January I guarantee you all I will sign a quality CB, GK, DM and a striker as I know understand that we as a team will never get a full or even a half season out of RVP.

If this ever happened or even half happened I wouldn’t want any other Manager to take over. The simple fact is due Wengers ego he has alienated himself from many of us fans and turned into a joke. If he had stopped being such a tight fisted French wanker then we would have signed a keeper and 2 quality CB’s rather than the pile of shite he bought in the summer.

We would be flying on top of the league while the chavs have been playing shit. We would have a blanket of points that even the form of manure wouldn’t be able to chase that easy.

We wouldn’t of lost to Newcastle, WBA, Scum , maybe beaten Sunderland , Liverpool and even the chavs.

Fact is Wenger wont change, January we will be lucky to sign 1 player never mind 4 and he will probably sign another 5.6 midfielder kid as they take up less room in his hot tub!

Don’t care we beat Villa we nearly did it all again and threw it away, how they fuck can we have a 1 goal lead and then have 5 players in there box at the end of the match! Madness!
