betting

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

betting

Post by burns718 »

is it wrong that i have bet against us, my logic was that if we win and i lose a £5er then thas a 5er well spent, however if we lose at least i can buy a drink to down my sorrows
and £5 is not a bad price for a trip to wembley

£5 at 4/5 (best odds) what is the point. it would buy you 1 1/2 pints more than had you not put the bet on. i'd of had a little treble like i have liverpool to draw, hartlepool at home to southend, and sheff weds to win at home to derby.

Have to agree with the others Burnsy i understand the logic but could never bring myself to do it. If you do it and it goes against us you might be shunned on this forum forever   :D

We've had a similar discussion before. I considered doing it before our trip to Upton Park this season, but didn't do it. However, I would never put money on the Spuds to beat us!
