goodbye theo

goodbye theo

Post by burns718 »

although due to work i did not see the 1st half, from what i have herd he was fucking awful, i have yet to see a game were i have thought, yea this kids not bad - even the CL game he scored in he was pretty poor in.
sorry arsen but the sales team at southampton sold you a fuckin massive white elephant (which to be honest would have been more useful)
i dont think he is good enough for premiership football and certainly not arsenal.
i dont want this to turn into a thread castigatin theo for tonights scoreline and im not cunting him off as a person, having meet him a few times hes a great lad but unfortunatly a over hyped young lad who is NOT good enogh for us a sadly in my opinion never will be

I couldnt agree more, i just don't understand why he wasnt removed at half time, he was obviously ineffective. If eduardo or ade were on half time maybe it wouldnt have got to 3-0, let alone 5. walcott can lead the line out of arsenal with diaby closely behind

I agree about theo, hes just not upto it and has been here long enough now to show us what hes got (which is obviously not alot).

But when it comes to the point that u think Diay should leave, i totally disagree. i belive he is currently out of form but i think hes a class player in the making, given a bit more time, we could see a glimpse of Vieira in him.

But Theo, Ill get your coat for ya mate.

To be fair, he didn't get much service and he did managed to create our best chance. He is 18 so think it is too early to tell to see if he can fufil his potential, he has had good moments like his early form when he looked a real prospect and games like Sunderland were he tears defences apart but too often do we see what we did tonight and it worries me.

It was 4-0 Steary!

Agreed.............best thing we can do in the transfer window is to let him go and SEE if he can learn his trade elsewhere and come back to us as useful!

it jus seems bread an butter football management, when your losing you change somthing, dont you.
how can you expect 4 goals in 25 mins its not gona happen, im not ade's biggest fan but id have him over theo every day of the week.

i do believe that diaby is pure class in the making, we know its there as it gets shown every now and then (unlike theo) he needs to be playing in the middle of the pitch, where he can use his height an strengh more effectively.

denilson should be sent on loan aswell i think, pherhaps these two have got to a point where they really need regular football to make sure they develope at the rate they had been 5 or 6 months ago. look at the flaminal no one really rated him but with constant football both at LB and CM he has shown hes got more talent than i think any of us thought.

if we had lost to anybody else.then fair enough it was the carling cup,but to lose to those bastards by 4 goals......yes theo was poor(again),but will give him another chance,he is only 18 and was maybe nervous, was probably his biggest ever game, was happy to see theo and nick start but i was screaming at the telly to take them both off after 50mins

Only thing about letting Theo go is that we'll need someone to replace him. Which we won't...

And unfortunately, we have to face it.

Theo is our 5th choice striker. (4th is you disregard RVP at the moment)

And is next in line to play on the wing if Hleb/Rosicky are injured.

If we loan him out, some class has to come in to replace him, and Wenger doesn't look as if he'll do it.

don't be to harsh on the boy Wenger should not have started him there was to much at stake. on the Diaby subject he is one of the best young players we have wenger is playing him out of position and it shows he made a big mistake tonight with selection and we paid for it big time
