You can't complain about a home draw against a lower division side, but I smell serious crowd trouble with up to 9000 Leeds fans in town. I bet the Met's finest are well pleased.

People in Dover are gutted. There's really no justice. The only way they will make money is if they can force a replay and get it on the TV. I feel really sorry for them to be honest - they were all hoping for the FA Cup to work its magic and give them Arsenal away. Shame for all concerned really.

How hard will it to be to get tickets for this? As it's not a league game there's no guarantee of a red sale, is it likely to sell out at silver? Bearing in mind there's 6000 less for us if Leeds take most of the clock end.

It'll definitely be available to red members, and I wouldn't be surprised if it went on general sale afterwards.

Red sale is next Tuesday. Silver sale is 2nd December.

I'm looking for spare (red) membership for this, if anyone's got one to lend please PM so we can sort something out (will obv. give you a beer token)

I've just been thinking that it's 20 years since we played them in the 3rd round and won the third replay up at Elland Road on the day of the 4th round, if I remember rightly.
The replays that went on and on is one thing that I miss these days. Playing midweek on tv was a bit deal going back 20-odd years and it meant that the cup was a big deal.

I'm sure if you write to them and explain that, then they will do their best to accomodate you, your highness.

:finger: Its more like his royal fucking highness Prince Chippy Jnr, who plays footy Sunday morning and has school stuff Monday night. As Mrs Chippy is from Leeds and half the family are dirty Leeds fans, I really want to go to this!

I'll try and go along to Leeds if I can't arrange tickets for me and my toon mate at Stevenage seeing as he never gets to see them.

I'll have to queue outside the ground when they go on general sale - like the good old days before websales!

Showing as 3pm on the Saturday, but I haven't seen the fixture email yet, so still a bit suspicious of this.

I looked on the FA site and all 3rd round ties are still listed as 3pm kick offs on Saturday..... Oh for the days when that were true!

How can they put the tickets on sale tomorrow when they haven't even confirmed the date and time of the match?! Ridiculous state of affairs!

They put season tickets on sales with no fixture list.

the FA will wait for the replays before deciding what games will be live on tv..we already know one Man Utd V Liverpool, another will be FC Utd V Portsmouth if they win, Leicester V Man City, Millwall V Bham, Scunthorpe V Everton, Sheff Utd V Villa, Stevenage V Newcastle....all these games are more likely to be on tv so SAT at 3pm is a given imo
