Bad omen certainly....April 1983 springs to mind.

Though a very nice and friendly guy and good to see where his loyalties lie (he was wearing pink socks strangely too :D )

Wasnt he the manager of the sp*rs team that got relegated in the 70's too?

I don't think he was that good. I think they went down a season later but the Alzheimers (and alcohol) is taking its toll.

Just looked it up on Wikipedia. They went down in 77 in Burkshaw's first season. 8)
