As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Wenger's babes will never ever have a better chance of lifting the Carling Cup Victory against Ipswich over 2 legs, and we should be capable of beating Brum or Wet Spam
If, or when, we get to the final, Wenger simply must play a full-strength side. There's no more important game to AFC right now than one in which we can win a trophy.

I think the other one as this beat it by a whole minute!
I've been to Ipswich many times. Two that stick in the memory though were a little....unsavoury. The first was being in a pub close to the ground (across a market square?) which was dismantled almost brick by brick by fellow gooners. I recall being outside by the time roof tiles were being thrown. It was wrong....but still kind of funny in a way.
The second was sitting with a group of mates amongst the home fans and pouring a pint (my memory is of doing it in slow motion....) over a tractor boy who decided - somewhat unwisely - to aim his goal celebrations in my direction!
Best draw all round for me living in Suffolk among Ipswich fans - they only had 11,000 for the WBA match but no doubt it will be a sell out, as they will all turn out to see Eboue
I guess our allocation will be approx 4,000 so little chance of a ticket unless a ST holder or away scheme member.
I will be working on all possible sources for tickets - anyone with a spare or two will be greatfully appreciated.
Yeah never been away to Ipswich before so quite looking forward to this one. Just a shame if we make it through I won't stand a chance at getting tickets to the final. The goldies are happy to ignore the opening rounds and as soon as we hit wembley they'll snap them up
Portman Road (and Carrow Road too) are quite good grounds for Championship clubs with close proximity to the fans it will make for a cracking atmosphere I reckon.
It holds about 30,000 which will sell out but I guess it will depend if it is on tv as to how quick it sells out - Not being in the prem it may be a new ground for quite a few away gooners to visit.
I used to live in Ipswich for a short while, but that was back when transport was still horse and cart, everyone bartered for food and flogging people in the market square was still a common occurence.
fuking hope it goes to reds this one. was driving through norwich last weekend when they were away up here and the fukers held the trafic up while prancing around the cars shouting (not even chanting in any sort of rythem)
