Arsenal Away Kit 07/08 – It’s white alright (30/4)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal Away Kit 07/08 – It’s white alright (30/4)

Post by gooner.ed »

usual thread starter... i was about to post this thread at about 2pm when suddenly - the site went down. an overload of too many hits at the same time. and the server could not cope. out of our control folks - and apologies for the loss of service. anyhow - as for the kit - we saw it coming, even printed a pic of the shirt in early april. and now it looks like a reality. will you be buying?

No mention of it on the club site. I'd say it's a wind up. I hope so too - minging looking psuedo-tottingshizer jersey.
Would not buy any white jersey.

er, since the kit will be make in Indonesia (and I am an Indonesian) I can confirm it that this kit (white and blackcurrant) is real. It is not yet released by Nike yet, soon. It will be our 3rd kit apparently.

This happen last year as well when the news about the home kit was all over the net and from the same sources, they confirm the kit was real...

From my understanding, we will use the same home kit 06/07 for 2 season right?

I think ill buy it just because no one else will. No matter how much i hate corporations like nike and thier continuous exploitation of devoted fans some of us have to buy it for the clubs sake. I think ill buy them as gifts for younger family members :(

I fear this white piece of tat is real. I'm a teacher and loads of my pupils came back after Easter telling me about our new away kit. Apparently on tours of The Grove now, the guides tell you that 'there will be a new white kit for next season.' Sadly, this is the doing of Emirates but you'd really think that somebody at Arsenal would have had more sense.

New Away Kit

Anyone who buys and wears this alleged piece of crap hopefully will choke on their own vomit, but that's a liberal point of view.

Simple if you dont like it dont buy it.If a lot of fans boycott it maybe the club will realise our away colours are yellow and blue. But dont hold your breath i said the same thing when they brought out the blue kit,Some fans will buy any colour kit the club bring out they follow like sheep and the club laugh all the way to the bank.

Maybe we should go back to the one season wonder green & blue kit, or the yellow kit with blue "prison" stripes?

As for the home kit, I'd heard that we were going to have a "second season at the Emirates" special edition? I'd also heard that the cannon was going to replaced by something a little less, er, warlike. Something more green & organic, like....fruit & veg!!!
