WORK.....AN OVERATED ACTIVITY

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

WORK.....AN OVERATED ACTIVITY

Post by SPUDMASHER »

I've been here since 7.45 this morning and can honestly say that I haven't done a stroke of work. My whole day has been taken up with posting and coffee breaks in between periods of convincing the whole world that I don't give a fuck about last night. I do give a fuck about the scoreline though. Surely somebody is going to notice soon!

Lets face it none of us are happy about last night and the scoreline was bad but would it have been worse had the youngsters played out of their skin but lost 1-0 to a last minute goal? I think it would have been 100 times worse

So chin up everyone plenty more football to go this season

was debating that with a mate today and Im not sure. She seems to think its beter then loosing 1 nil to a dodgy decision but me I would much rather have lost 1 - 0, feel robed and angry, then knowing we were battered fair and square!

the *word censored* at my workplace have been absolutely merciless. Their all pompey scum bags who think its hilarious. Funnily enough the 3 spurs fans have been very humble about it so must give them small props. The abuse just doesnt stop at work mind you. Already had to be dragged away from a fight with a pompey fan at work who called us all non singing scumbags and cheating *word censored*

I agree with northbankdamien on this. I'd rather lose 1-0 with the ref clearly favouring the opposition that get thrashed. Yesterday’s result hurt me because it was an embarrassing score and it was the saddest I ever felt about Arsenal. If we lost 1-0 and put in a great performance, I wouldn’t be that sad at all because I expected a tough match and probably a defeat. But the result makes it painful.
