At least you agree that Roly is the the most irritating person ever!! Made the mistake of giving him my email address recently and feel he's stalked me ever since! Still perhaps the little girl went to the Coronet after the match just to avoid Roly! Thats where i go to avoid him!!safcftm wrote:How can a thread about the most irritating supporter ever not contain this fucker:

I remember that it was a 0-0 draw with QPR and that my dad spent the entire game telling eddie mcgoldrick to fuck off. I remember being very excieted to go on the train (the first time I ever made a journey by rail) the walk up to the surface at Arsenal station that seemed like it would take forever. The huge crowd in front of the ground, and going through the turnstiles for the first time. But most of all I remember walking out onto those steps down to our seats and seeing that huge expanse of grass and hearing the roar of the crowd, I was hooked.rolypoly wrote:ufg
do tell us your memories of your first ever game or are you only 4 now in which case maybe you can just about remember anything! what a load of bollocks . taking three year olds with theattention span of a goldfish to a football match is bloody stupid and aint done for the kids sake-its done to make dad feel good
I don't remember much about the game, but going to Highbury for the first time made a huge Impression on me.

He sounds like a rugger bugger. We get them in my local for the big towel flicker matches, yelling at the screen "Drive! Engage!"dudbux wrote:i think the most annoying supporter ever was sitting in block 116/7 on saturday. 40 odd years screaming in a high pitched voiced lines like
"believe"
"control"
"wally you can do it" - whenever wallcot touched the ball
"dont give in"
etc etc were not watching fucking little jimmy play on a sunday morning.
i would have prefered silence than 90 mins of that!!

I read the opening post and wondered when it would be directed at me!flash gunner wrote:Wasn't Boomers daughter was it?![]()
This is the reason i wouldnt take my daughter till i game till she is much older i think she is too young to be interested for most of the time and wouldnt want her pissing off other fans

Nope it wasn't me.
As much as mine appears really keen I've taken various advice and I think the bordom factor will play a big part in it.
I'm going to re-think it in the summer but even then start off small. Maybe a tour or members day.

That wasn't a mishearing, we used to do that all the time, Salami, Cheese Sarney, Biryani, Reg Varney etc..although we were wankers in the clock endNos89 wrote:About 15 years ago in the old west stand, once again it was a young girl about 5/6 mis heard the North Bank and was singing "Salami" instead of "red army". Funny at first but after an hour including half time a bit annoying!!

Also reminds me of these other classics..
My old man's got a second hand ******, Oooh Pat Vieira...My old man's got a second had citroen...Oooh Lee Dixon..

I propose a new Text A Nuisance Kid service. If racism or swearing are recognised as socially unacceptable behaviours, surely poor parenting should also not be tolerated. Eject the fuckers from the stadium.
If the kid was that distressed and the dad unable to control the little brat I too would be well fucked off.
After taking a day off work and paying astronomical ticket prices (if youre lucky enough to even get a ticket) a screaming kid should not be allowed to ruin the match for genuine supporters.
I loved Number 5's story of his 5 year old boy who started a chant of Red Army, sounds like he loves it already and he'll grow up to be Arsenal through and through... But a 5 year old girl at a game is quite simply not going to benefit anyone.
Woman and football, I rest my case...
