Le Bob

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yep. Please retire Bob. Be remembered for the utter brilliance you showed with us, not for one last season spent past your sell by date... :(

I had to crack out the 2002 and 2004 DVD's and watch Bob in his prime after that match last night. Of course that only made me feel worse to see the quality we had then and compare it with the shite we have now. Comedy Eboue, Theo, Vela, Bendy, Denilson, Almunia would not be allowed to clean the boots of those lads from that era... :(

Considering I took my avatar name from him, it makes me sad seeing how such a legend's career has ended :(

i'm not sad, i have to say. he hasn't really been a brilliant player for a long while now, so it's no surprise. and i really think he knows that too.

he's in it to get some more 'footballer' money and then retire with his pockets as full as possible. i don't see anything wrong there.
