Has anyone considered that we might qualify tonight - then win our last 16 match - and then - - - - -

meet Sp*rs in the 1/4 final!!

I've got a strong feeling this is how the CL will pan out for us.

Agreed - BUT - we shouldn't need to worry about them should we??

Over 2 legs we should have more than enough quality to see them off (there's another BUT coming) - BUT - our recent record against them will give everyone in Red the jitters.

With a decent defence, the current team could match anybody!! Why can't Arsene or the Board see this??

While im confident our quality will see us through over two legs against them, I'd rather not risk it.

We will get Real, and once again Jose will kick the incompetent Wenger's sorry ass.
That's assuming we aren't playing L'pool in the Europa league.
I would honestly not give a fuck if we went out tonight, if we didn't have to play in the Europa League.
And I will justify exit from the clge thus.
1. We won't win it anyway
2. It will hit the club financially. This is the only thing the board care about, so maybe Wenger would come under scrutiny. As a lack of trophies doesn't seem to be an issue with his employers.
3. It would bring embarrassment on Wenger and maybe just maybe knock some of the arrogance out of the man. (but i doubt it I'm sure he would find someone or something else to blame)

I forgot that we would play on C5 if we get knocked out. We could never live that down.

We have to qualify tonight!

Wanting the team to lose for the purpose of embarrasing Wenger....I may be annoyed at the guy and his decisions at the moment but to want the team to fail just to raise your agenda at the boss is sad and stupid  :banghead:

And I guess if we do get Barca we'll get knocked out and can focus on retaining our lead at the top of the table  :barscarf:

If we get our arses kicked like we did last season by Barca,Wenger wont do a thing because it wont be his fault it will be because of injuries :banghead: the referee, the pitch(too big or small)the weather,Barca not letting us have the ball and Jupitar being in line with Mars.Nothing to do with him putting weak teams out in the group stages no of course not.

AA23- I will respond to your legitimate post first.
Sad maybe stupid I disagree, this isn't simply my agenda, sad because it seems that this Manager will be judged by this board, on a financial results basis rather than a footballing one, and sadly if a clge exit is the only way to get the board to acknowledge that something is wrong, then that would be a sacrafice that may yield future dividends.

Sycisid,.
If coming on here and calling me "lowlife" is the only way you can make your point, then I would suggest that you fuck off, I don't as a rule get involved in childish name calling on the forum.
I will however in your case make an exception, as from reading your posts over the last 18 months I feel it is the only form of debate that you understand. You are without doubt a complete fucking halfwit, who has never made a post on this forum with any substance whatsoever.

as for me i'd take Madrid, I think we don honeslty have the quality to beat them over two legs.

Bayern or Schalke also i thinkwould be tough but managable.

Plus think of the away trip to the bernabeu, brings back memories of my last trip there :barscarf:
