Song for Flamini

Song for Flamini

Post by dbrien »

To the tune of Valerie by Amy Winehouse/Zutons

Since you came along
our midfield is not a mess
and I like your rolled up sleeves
and your link up play with Cesc

So wont you get some shots in
as well as bossing the midfiiiiield
why dont you score a goal Flaminiiii

de de de de de de de de de
Flamini

etc etc

Could do with a bit of re wording to make it more inspiring but it's a good idea, mainly the first verse.

I think all this time you're spending with my mum is muddling your brain and your senses [smilie=row1_14.gif]

right I have been thinking about it and have changed the words of the second verse although it might be even better if there were no verses and just the de de de bit!

Since you came along
our midfield is not a mess
and I like your rolled up sleeves
and your link up play with Cesc

Since you came on over
you've made us forget about Petiiiit
but why dont you score more goals Flaminiiii

de de de de de de de de de
Flamini

I quite like the chant that was on the gooner podcast a couple of episodes ago: to the theme tune of The Sweeney "Flamini, Flamini do do dododo do do do"

I've sung that at a couple of games and it seems to go down quite well...
