AFC obsession

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

AFC obsession

In order to lighten the mood after Tuesday night, I was reminded of a mate who was such an anorak about his Arsenal programme collection, that he would iron out the creases of his programme on a Sunday morning (cover with cloth first if ur gonna have a go!!). True devotion to the cause-anyone else got ridiculous obsessions/superstitions? Or does everyone iron their 'matchday magazine'!!!'

hahahahaha thank you. this post is the first thing that really cheered me up all day! I can just picture somone ironing a program. I usually use mine for roach material LOL (though i do keep the special ones)

I collect match programs from whatever spoting fixtue I go to. Unfortunately no Arsenal ones yet though...

But I don't go as far as ironing them...

i used to collect stuff from every game but then the kids came and it was just taking up space so i gave all my stuffto bergkamp95 who's the anorak in our supp club,, he even bought the 1989 liverpool prog last match over for £15,,
he must hav 1000s at this stage,, buteveryone to there own i suppose

any picture i see in the newspaper relating to arsenal has to be cut out and put on some kind of wall. It started with just the posters from the programme on the wall in my room, now there allover the house.
