Miserable as I usually am, I actually have a good feeling about this one.
0-1 and Song to score, 125-1 if anyone is interested. :barscarf:

WOW!

Now I have a great feeling about this match, this is probably the only match this season I haven't been confident about but now I believe we can do it! :barscarf:

I also have a feeling we can nick a win. I believe our team has the pace to trouble their back line as you have seen time and time again the likes of torres and agbonlahor rip vidic's ass out.

I really don't know about tonight. My head says they will win, purely because our defence is just not good enough.......but they are not great and it's about time they got their first defeat of the season!
The only thing I am sure about is Rooney is likely to score against us as he always does, so I've stuck £50 on him to score at anytime

I'm reading Flappy is a serious doubt and Scezney may be starting.

If some how Almunia is playing and we lose,......

In my opinion the outcome of this game will more or less come down to who has the guts/balls for the fight ? If we come out like pussycats while fletcher, ginger scholes and evra kick lumps out of us and allow shrek and nani to dive around the place like bambi on ice then we will be well and truly fcuked :worried:
If on the other hand we fly into the tackles, be more physical and still maintain possession as we usually do then we have a chance but dainty football alone will not get the job done up there and there is nobody in the squad or coaching staff that can and will get that message across   :x

I really hope that evra gets fcuking done big time in a 50/50 tackle tonight and those are words that dont come easy to me

I think certain players must step up tonight. That means everyone giving 500%, and the underperformers absolutely raising their game.

I think so far this season the wins at Man City, Everton, Blackburn and Wolves have shown that we have been able to stand up and be counted when needed.

That said, this game is on another level IMO to those and I hope we can repeat it. The squad certainly should be confident going into this, and despited UTD being unbeaten this season they have not been firing on all cylinders (despited Fat Sam rolling over for Fergie)

I think a good start is vital, and if we can get that I'd back us to go on and win 3-1. Either way I am looking forward to this game so much and just hope we can give the gooners going up there a good show, and those watching on telly (and in their armchairs )

Come on Arsenal !! :barscarf:

No denying, tonight is a massive game for us for many reasons. If Wenger has any sense of his place in this universe, he should understand better than anyone that this game is a judgement on him, his methods & his CBs.

My fear is that I have no faith in our CB partnership and for that reason I am a very worried man as to what might come tonight.

On the positive side, I believe we can cause them problems with our passing and pace.

Make no bones about it, a draw tonight would be a very very good result and set us up nicely for the coming weeks.

In the 35 league games at OT since 1980 we've only managed to score more than one goal on two occassions - shocking stat.

Our defence is non-existant. Nani, Berbatov, and in particular, Rooney ought to make mincemeat out of it.

We lack fight in the midfield, Scholes, Carrick hardly dreading facing us.

Hard to see Chamakh getting any change out of Ferdinand and Vidic.

Saying all that though, we have world class winners in Nasri and Arshavin, belief from the City result in that part of the world earlier in the season, RVP chomping at the bit and are seriously overdue a performance against one of the big boys.

I don't think Utd should be odds-on to beat us, despite our failings, and have layed them at a shade under evens to nick some christmas money.

Tbh we outplayed them last year, had Ben Fosters toe not saved RVP's shot we would have won that game easily. A performance like that again would do for us, but with a bit more cutting edge

Something we've lacked this season and for me, is almost as worrying as the defensive frailties. Our chances to goals ratio must be about 4:1 :banghead: Spooning over from 2 yards or passing when 1 on 1 with the keeper is not an option tonight.
