It was an even game until manure got a flukey goal then they sat back and defended very well and hit us on the counter.

It would be entirely possible to construct an argument that says we didnt deserve to lose- mainly because man yoo didnt deserve to win it but frankly im sick of making excuses for these games. The stats speak for themselves, we arent good enough.

I'm quite pleased with the result

I really thought we were going to be destroyed, and lets face it if they wanted to they could have.

I hate to say it but I think the current Arsenal Tactical Manner can be summed up on the one page in it

FINISH IN THE TOP FOUR IN MAY BOYS

So long as there is no ambition to do any better why would we do any better even when as clearly is the case this year and was last year even we have a real chance to do more than that?

I believe our team is now made up of over paid underperforming undermotivated youngsters and underpaid underperforming and undermotivated veterans, and until the club as a whole displays some geuine desire for the team to achieve more that will not change no matter who is managing the club. If anything the situation under a new manager(more on this issue in the Mailbag tommorrow) will be more likely to wortsen sionce the only way iot can improve is to return to top-two or better seasons.

Wilshere, Song, Chamakh, Van Persie, Arshavin and Cesc were all shite. Walcott and Nasri were the only players who looked like they were going to actually create something.

Seriously ?? Nasri was awol and walnut is shit with no brains

Don't worry, Arsenal.com and Wenger are surely already on it.

They weren't very good, we were worse, Wenger's midfield selection for the first half was shite, why was Nasri out wide? Arshavin was shit, the only positive was Szcesney

Arsene Wenger needs to sort it out this season or Im joining the calls for Wenger out.

Also Squillaci needs dropping for Djourou, I don't think I've seen him win a header at all since we signed him.

I agree about Kos, did well tonight. Clichy really is fucking shit right now and Song is showing some "Fulham" like tendancies.

We were slow all night, and united were first to almost every ball that mattered. The balance of the team is wrong, this fucking around with the ball for 10 minutes and then, giving the ball to clichy to produce absolutely nothing!! You just couldn't make it up.

man u loves Arsenal. Always will as long as we lie down and take it up the bum every time.

Wenger needs to know what some think of a man who's got blinkers to the problems, takes great care in agreeing his own fat contract, but won't spend OUR money to strengthen the team - with players that are preferably taller than 5ft 4, and have got some fucking character.

Complete rubbish, its evident that Arsene wants to win but hes just so stubborn with his current philosophy. He wants to win it his way.

Wenger spouts on literally every week about the mental strength, the desire, the hunger and yet so often we see lifeless displays, players who don't seem interested...Arshavin for example......players who just aren't doing it....Clichy......and yet ALL Wenger does is come out and repeat himself saying the same old shit. How much longer can this go on?

Yeah, I know.....probably 3 years! :banghead:

I really don't see the point of singling out any player(s) for a slagging. Not on eof them can hold their heads high tonight (with the exception of Chesney  )

Worse display at OT since we lost 6 1 in 2001, and against the worst Man U team since the 1980s.

i wonder if man utd fans get the nervous anticipation before an arsenal game now, or if, to them, it's just like playing, say, aston villa.
