usual thread starter… Adebayor’s apologised and was obviously out of order. But if his frustration at Bendtner not passing due to his having ran offside was the start of this, he needs to take a long look at his own abilities. Great finisher, yes, but there are times his positional nous reminds me of Sylvain Wiltord, who had to be moved to right midfield to stop him constantly running offside.

I remember this sort of thing happening many years ago when Pat Rice of all people when captain had a serious argument during a game with a mid-fielder called Trevor Ross who was a Peter Storey type player.I can`t remember the reason for the argument but it carried on after the whistle blew for half time all the way to the tunnel.What happened after that I don`t know.

I just cant get my head around all this.

Adebayor ran into an offside position? this must be some kind of mix up

I do think this is getting slightly getting blown out of hand. Yes it was embarrasing and shouldn't have happened but it was nowhere near as bad as the David Batty and Graem Le Saux incident or even the Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer one.

Disagreements and arguments happen in football, I'd be more upset if they didn't as they show passion but I think the papers have overhyped the issue as usual.

The players know they were wrong and hopefully they will learn from this experience and it won't happen again.

Now lets forget about the issue and look forward to the 10-0 thrashing where gonna give the geordies on saturday

The great irony of the Bowyer-Dyer fight is that after a few years, they end up in the same club and a club that wears blue and claret like Aston Villa does, the team they were playing against when they fought.
