who cares about good 15 yr olds

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In an ideal world we would see the best of both. Why not keep developing the fine young talent but also buy up well established players as well :?

The way I see it is we need a centre back and a right winger so just let us go out and buy them, simple

Well it is a good thing the manager cares because if he didn't, we would fall behind in youth team and instead of producing players that either net us a profit or go on to be a star with us, we will end up trying to fill in holes by splashing the cash.

Nothing wrong with buying players but neglecting the youth system would be insane

im just thinking all the big clubs have 3 OR 4 big names in their team, especailly striker roles, would bendtner get in chavs/scum/manure team well thats a definant no they have tevez, drogba, shevchenko was a big name once and berbatov if we want to compete we must compete in transfer market thats just how it works these days- you might be quoted 30 mil for torres so what thats the name of the game these days, these prem clubs these days are making mre money than ever before so gods sake spend a little arsenal.

bendtner has more goals then Vornion and only slightly less then Kuyt (3) and Crouch (1). More then Saha and presumbly more then their legends Dong and Eagles, more then Pizarro while only two behind Kalou and Schvneko, same amount as Bent who only cost £16 million. For a clearly rubbish striker, he isn't doing too badly this season compared to the mighty teams who... uh wait do any of their strikers bar Drogba have more then Ade this season? and Dudu isn't far behind despite spending his time adapting to the English game

Thank goodness we bought a big striker in Dudu hey? and we are above all but Man U

To be fair we had to buy a striker after Henry left. Most gooners would not have been happy with Bendtner, Wallcot, Van Persie and Abe starting the season as our 4 strikers. 2 are young and learning their trade and one is massively injury prone.

Still love all 4 of them though.

WHO CARES ABOUT GOOD 15 YEAR OLDS?

Well I do!

They are the future of our club. Unlike Chavski we are not in this for the short term. I want a successful Arsenal for all time and the good 15 year olds will always help that.
Having said that I also care about quality experienced players that need to be bought to compliment our side and assist in developing the 15 year olds.
