As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

True, on one occasion he did. (see panto this is how to admit you were wrong).
My only comment in defence of my earlier statement would be that Wengers comments were pretty much an isolated incident whereas SAFs are a routine occurrance and are lergely volunteered as opposed to being sought after. Wengers comments never carried the ddouble edge sword that SAFs usually do.
Come now, every time a manager is sacked or in trouble, Arsene seems to defend them. He and Alex are the statesmen of the LMA, they are looked up to and neither of them like the short term deal managers now get. I doubt the boards ever like to hear the two of them speak on the subject but the managers will
I like the way its gone from being God's own city to suddenly just "I think its God owns city" Was that another poetic thing? I think it therefore it must be true? or did you realise someone had shown youe up to be a cretin therefore it became merely a poetically licensed thought of yours that bears no resemblence to the actual truth!
And as for Manchester being more successully in sporting terms....
Last 4 Years...Premiership title to London 3, to Manchester 1
Manchester gets the commonwealth games
London get the OLYMPIC games and the NATIONAL stadium
and as my learned friend pointed out at no point have we made a ridiculous suggestion that London is God's own city and therefore your response of naming some boroughs was as always pointless, unfounded and a waste of time well not for you because I suppose it felt like you were getting to talk to some of your like minded gooner pals

Rooney was doing wonders for Everton and was already an England international and had a fabulous Euros when red nose signed him. Thats a lot of development work there eh?
The idiocy in some of your posts is mind boggling and whats even more mind boggling is your shamelessness when that gets pointed out.
And Sky TV forged the footage of United fans with banners demanding Fergie be sacked in 1987/1988
Bit hard for Sky to forge anything in 1988 - it wasn't even launched until 1989.
Cus, I take it you realise that Sky have broadcast that footage in the years since the 1980s - usually to show how stupid some United fans were and how stupid a lot of current football directors (who sack managers after 2 or 3 games) are. I think I've seen the same footage 3 or 4 times over the years.
