Schalke, Barca, Bayern or Real? CL Draw Friday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

need to stay in Duesseldorf. great night life. Cologne is also within shouting distance. Essen is the nearest big town but very dull. :(

It is a district within Gelsenkirchen.

For the first time in 11/12 years I'm not in the least bit excited about the draw. I won't be having the usual sleep-less night, worrying about getting a good draw, and I shall not be making an effort to make sure I'm in front of a tv tomorrow morning.

The reason? Nothing to get excited about as with this team of under-performers, under achievers and renowned bottle-jobs, we're odds on to get knocked out, regardless of who we draw. If not this time, then almost certainly next. And that makes me sad rather than excited.

I can confirm NO and thats a BIG NO............. its like Villareal without the sun a large industrial estate.

Get there for the game a couple of hours before kick off. As for places to stay i guess Dortmund is better or Amsterdam

I seem to remember a decent night out in Dusseldorf
kebabs nearly as good as Dalston-on-Bosphorus

but somebody mentioned A-Dam... is there a train between the two?

assuming we come 2nd in group it will be schalke - if negotiations have not gone too well it could at pinch be munich - not i believe in conspiracies or corruption

schalke would be best trip having done others inc munich in feb which must have been coldest ever at football.
I agree, it'll be a German team. If not, it'll be a Spanish team

I actually thought Milan (2-0) was colder than the battering we took @Bayern
(Toure's first bad game for us)
but at least we had a huge snowball fight to warm us up

According to the **** representative on SSN monkey boy "ruined maicons international career"... bit of an exageration.

These *word censored* really do believe their own hype time after time, its quite funny really.

Can't seem to get Dan's ITV stream. Page works but no stream.

Found this on Myp2p but coverage hasn't started.

[edit] Just seen...is coverage starting at 11?
