Braca Thoughts
Braca Thoughts
We could have drawn FC Calais for all I care, because at the end of the day if we don't get toonked by Barcelona it will only be Madrid, Chelsea of United in the next round.
Seriously we are doomed, I was midly optimistic last season and shelled out about £700 for the joy of 'winning' in the Camp Nou for all of 90 seconds.
As a gesture of will why don't we let Cesc play for Barca to even things up a bit, kind of like a charity/exhibition/testimonial for him.
Have you ever been so nonchalant about playing a major European force in the 12 or so years that we've qualified annually. I rememebred facing Parma without fear knowing we could beat the odds and win, and now I'm resighned to giving up at the last 16.
What went wrong, was I young and niave back then or have I lost faith?

We used to dream about these ties but back then we had teams that would and could play. Not just good players but even back to the Graham era we were clued up and knew that we wouldn't give up without a fight.
Now...the likes of Selly, Hillier, Kiwomya & McGoldrick
Aren't a patch on Denilson, Diaby, Bendtner & Vela

Yeah me and the missus. I'd given up on a ticket then when they came though everything was sky high. Ended up taking the Eurostar to Paris, then flying from there. Then f*cked up with the hotel - in all an expensive way to see Almunia let is 4 goals.
Still it's ticked off the list now - no need to return until Wenger wakes up and faces reality.

It's OK everyone, Arsene says it will be "difficult but possible". Apparently we are better than last year and will be "on our toes"

When your expectations are so low, it doesn't feel so bad....
I just get pissed off with the attitude and lack of passion of the team. The lack of quality is all too evident but I EXPECT, every single player to fight like a caged animal every match and give 200 percent.
It doesnt matter how shit you are, that lack of effort cannot be excused. And this is why alot of guys like Denilson etc bug the shit out of me.
