Chavs at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs at home

Post by Chippy »

Got tickets for this one. Will it be good for my Xmas hangover? If I put on my rose tints for a sec, if we can beat them then we are compounding their awful run of form. :barscarf: :barscarf:

If it does go ahead, at least we'll had a full two weeks' recovery time in preparation, so there really can be no excuses.

You just know that is going to be one of the excuses.

Two losses in a row against big teams should hopefully see Turnip gone. Maybe that's why the football gods postponed the Stoke match; its written in the stars. :barscarf:

No way in hell, this will be the match where Chelsea picks up their form, smashes us, and are back on their way to win the league. :x

I'm not as negative as some on here but it is oh so predictable, we will lose against Man Utd/Chelsea...Drogba will get a couple and we'll huff and puff and be on the end of a 3-1 or 3-0 defeat

Wenger will talk about how the players lacked mental sharpness after 2 weeks without a fixture

The match will be postponed due to extreme weather conditions

I can see us winning this, then going to Wigan and losing.

In fact we have the next four games:

Chelsea home
Wigan away
Brum away
Man City home

If we lost two of them I wouldnt be surprised in the slightest. Last season we didn;t win any of those games..... :x
