on carlos vela, from sky sports

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I saw the Real Madrid game and he looked lively, showed a few tricks and bamboozled Sergio Ramos on a couple of occasions. He seemed to be physically stronger as well. Would be a nice addition to the squad next summer but we will need to give him time.

He hasnt scored for Osasuna much, but both the goals he has scored have been scorchers.

hopefully vela doesn't fail in the same way as those three though.

the one that most disappointed me was stokes.

I really hope that can play for The Arsenal next season.
He's constantly on loan to spanish clubs because he cant get a work permit to come and work in this country.
Although apparently at the end of this season he should be eligible for a spanish passport and therefore can come and work in england!! :)
Fingers crossed!
