Heathrow is sh*t

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Heathrow is sh*t

Post by DanielD »

Not only did I miss the Stoke game on saturday, I also missed my flight home because they couldn't clear the snow from the airport's runways.

It's a very early monday morning, and I'm still here after I slept in Heathrow for the last two nights.. Getting an hotel near the airport is impossible, and counting on the public transport to get me to the airport from a distant one is quite scary.

I hope my flight takes off this morning, but I'm pessimistic (or realistic, as some of you may say  ).

I feel your pain mate. I was meant to fly home on Saturday but that got canceled. I'm meant to be on a flight tomorrow night but I'm still not convinced that's going to go ahead. Really anxious about making it home for Christmas now!

Depending on when you're flying in, you should be alright. Last I heard, they opened a runway at Heathrow this morning. I'm hoping that they open another one before 6am (GMT) otherwise I'll be delayed again! If you're setting off tomorrow, I reckon you'll be alright.
