DUBSTEP *wobb wobb, wobb wobb wobbb*

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Post by brazilianGOONER »

mates, can anyone tell me of clubs that normally play dubstep in london? i want to see if i am lucky enough to go watch it if there's something while i'm over (dec 24th-29th). BournemouthRED told me of a serious night in the fabric on the 27th, but i'm not sure if there'll be dubstep there. any tips?

cheers lads!!! :barscarf: :barscarf:

I have no idea what you are talking about, but by the sound of it I have already made my mind up that it is shite and I don't like it.

The event on the 27th is more DnB mate, get yourself there the day before (26th) for the "FWD & Rinse Christmas Party". Everyone who is anyone in the dubstep scene will be there, the lineup is huge. Advance tickets are sold out though so you'll have to turn up early & join the queue!

that's fantastic, dan!!! i don't mind staying in the queue at all, do you think i can manage to get in at some point?? if so, you can bet that i'll be there!

by the way, how should i get dressed to this?? all i'm taking in my backpack are jeans, arsenal shirts and my coat...   it seems to be sort of a famous club, and i don't have a clue to how you people dress to party!

You'll certainly get in mate, providing you don't turn up ridiculously late. Although having said that, it looks like they're doing £6 entry if you arrive after 3am but you'll have missed several of the best artists by then probably. I imagine it'll be at capacity by about 12-1ish, by which time it may well be one in, one out on the door. I'd say if you aim to join the queue between about 10.30-11ish you'll get in without any problems & be able to get a few drinks before it gets too crazy at the bar!

They won't be too fussy about how you're dressed at this one either, although football tops on a night out is usually a no-no. Just a casual t-shirt or top with jeans will be fine. Trainers should be OK too, although i'd maybe just give them a wipe down so they look a bit cleaner, sometimes they can be a bit arsey on the door if your footwear is a bit scruffy!

great, dan!!! will follow your tips, and actually i don't mind joining the queue before 10pm, as i will probably be in a pub drinking before that with nothing to do anyway     :barscarf:

great to know that dress code is more relaxed. will surely take something with me.

thank you a lot, mate! will let you know how it was :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

:high5: Should be a good night. I thought about going when it was first announced, but couldn't find anyone else who wanted to go. Plus I don't follow the dubstep scene as closely as I did a few years back...
