are my eyes decieving me??

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

are my eyes decieving me??

Post by DERRY GOONER »

Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue has told skysports.com that both Milan and Juventus have enquired about securing his services.

The 24-year-old full-back, who is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations representing Ivory Coast, joined The Gunners from Beveren in 2005.

Eboue has regularly featured in Arsene Wenger's side since his switch, tallying 54 starts to date.

Wenger originally utilised the Ivorian at right-back, however the arrival of Bacary Sagna has seen Eboue move up into right-midfield.

Transfer

And speaking before Ivory Coast's Group D fixture against Benin, Eboue has revealed that a number of 'big clubs' have approached Arsenal about signing him in the January transfer window.

"I didn't want to talk about that. What I can say is that many big clubs spoke to Arsenal about a transfer in the January transfer window," he told skysports.com.

However, he insists he is content to stay at Emirates Stadium for the time being.

"But for me, it is Arsenal for the moment. I did not put a transfer request in. I like Arsenal. However, you never know [what might happen]," he concluded.

is this the same emanual eboue who plays for us, or is this his twin brother, who is actually good, and never moans?

Really?
I know Walcott is pretty shit at the momento, but he has a good attitude and i still think (with a loan spell) he can become a good player.

I say play 4-4-2 and stick Hleb on the right,
or 4-5-1 Rozza on the right, Diaby on the left, Hleb in the cashleyhole.

Guess they need cover on the right, Eboue is a decent player despite the antics and stranger transfers have happened. However I don't want us selling players unless they demand it (Diarra) or are of the standard that the bloke we just sold to QPR was at

I find that quite harsh Theo doesnt go to ground unless he has been really hurt (Even though he does drop if a fly hits him)

Theo has potential I dont think people realise he is ONLY 18 god damn it

give the lad a chance
