January blues...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think this guy is a spy sent by Arsene and Pat to find out what this forum is all about. They have investigated established that many members are from Ireland and that Augie is indeed from Ireland himself.

Jack has gone to admit that he lives on the same street of Rebel!!!!

Already talking about "the clique"........def someone on a piss take

Btw can somebody please put a stop to these never ending towers of quotes ?
im not on a wind up augie.....i've read these forums for a long time but have never really taken part.the clique im referring to is the Wenger is a c**t and all things about modern day Arsenal are shite clique of which i believe you are a fullu paid up member along with Mikey!

i will happily share these views with anybody in a pub on Blackstock Road on most home matchdays!

i find it amusing how everybody is saying that im on a wind up because im in support of the team or manager.......bet i woudnt be getting that if i was of the opinion of the clique

I think ive seen you out and about before. Were you in a restaurant in london with a French rapper recently?
ya that was me alright....you were the guy i must have overheard saying that he wished the club stayed like it was in the 80's-standing on the concrete in the NB,giving out about the new crest on the jersey and all the commercialisation of the club.
If you were talking about standing on the concrete NB in the very early 90's then maybe.

Once again thanks for making this day go quick at work.

The fact that im in Ireland means that i could only watch Arsenal on TV.....priceless!!
Mate i've probably been at more games than you.....so you can drop the superfan thing!

Modern day Arsenal seems to cause you alot of frustration. The facts are there to see,we're second in the league, semi finals of carling cup and last 16 of champions league.Things are not all bad!

I didn’t even know you were from Ireland. Many on here are from Ireland and go plenty of matches. I was referring to the match of the day comments on the basis that you seem clueless my friend.
Can you explain what a superfan is please. So a Superfan goes matches and supports his team on the day? Is this correct?

Ohh so now your getting into “ive been more matches than youâ€

whatever makes u happy...............if i change my stance and become a fully paid member of the 'i want Arsenal to revert to the 80's' fanclub will u allow me to meet up with ye for pre/post games drinks and discuss how shockingly bad our club is being run and how much of a *word censored* our manager is-------i know such an event will not take place in somewhere like the Rocket as our faction may encounter some of the Red Action group whom are frowned upon for looking at our club in somewhat of a positive nature.

Can i ask some of you guys a question? How do you guys feel when Arsenal win and play well---you'd have nothing to contribute to this forum.

It's the pure shite that comes out of Wenger's mouth after games and just to the press in general that gets people's backs up, we've been hearing it all for years and nothing changes, yet some people still choose to follow him blindly. That's fair enough if that is their opinion but would they still be following as willingly when we are 4 more years down the line and in the exact same place? :?

im certainly not following him blindly....i support him cause i think he is dong a good job and because i think he is the best man for the job.

if the time ever came that i thought he wasn't doing a good job then id say it....we're there or there abouts this season,2nd in the league, semi final of cc and last 16 of Champions leagueI know people aren't happy about havin to play Barca but at the end of the day of you want to win the competition then you're going to have to beat the best teams.

Modern day football is all about fine margins-2006 13 mins away from winning a Euopean Cup-2007 Carling Cup final-2008 probably should have won the league,Birmingham and Eduardo shot that one down,2009-champions league semi and fa cup semi and 2010 up to probably April we could and probably would have won the league had the majority of our best players not been missing for large chunks of the season.Wenger has kept this team competing through the stadium move and against teams who have an infinite budget.Im proud of the way our club is run and i dont understand where alot of the criticism on here comes from cause i think its OTT sometimes

Nobody disputes that wenger has not been a fantastic manager for this club, if not the best.

however the criticism is based on the manager not spending money on key aeras when and where it is needed. I actually beleive also that we could have won 1 or 2 trophys by now if arsene had not been so smug and smirk in competitions like the fa cup and carling cup
