Was a great game tonight and we showed lots of passion on the field i thought. Nice to see Theo, Samir and RVP pressing and hurrying chelsea in possesion all game and i was pretty amazed we kept it up. Normally its only something we end up doing for the first 20 mins but they showed the game meant something tonight. Have to say though looking at Chelsea its clear that we really need a Cech in between the posts. He pulled off a number of saves namley the free and chip from Nasri thats Almunia or Fabianski would not be able to pull off and he kept them in the game.

An absolutely brilliant performace tonight by all. For once we built from the back. The defence was solid apart from the goal, Djourou was man of the match for me and has to beome a regular on current form.

They all worked really hard and the rewards were there, stand outs apart from djourou....

Theo showed composure, he wasnt heavily involved but made a massive impact with his pace and work rate.

Fabs was superb. Started slowly but always pushing up and trying to put them under pressure.

What really stood out for me was the tactics.....they were spot on. Keep the defence tight, dont give them room, read their long balls, and play a high line when in attack, also when in attack dont over commit. Nasri and Theo tracked back this made a massive difference as it gave support to the back four.

In my opinion this is probably our strongest line up minus Vermalen for Koschielny. Get Van Persie on form, the team putting in the effort they showed tonight and we're flying!!!! 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Agree with most of what Bren says, think that RvP playing up front is so much better for us than when he plays behind the striker.
Would actually play Chamakh instead of RvP is both fit but know I am in a minority on that one!
Tonight showed we have much more engine without Arshavin.

Great performance and a great result! 8)

Starting Theo instead of Arshavin worked a treat 8) ... which reminds me... I thought subbing Theo for Diaby was just wrong! Chelsea were going to come at us more, and all it did was rob us of a pacy outlet! odd decision, I thought :?

Still, nice to finally beat 'em - now on to Wigan... 8)

With three games in a week reckon Wenger was saving Theo's hamstrings.
