Have you read any of my posts on AA?selsdon wrote:If u can't see that AA is world class there's little point having a discussion with ya
You would know that I think he is technically excellent but offers such a low workrate, particularly failure to track back, that he is a liabilty.
If he is not playing central behind the striker, which he is unlikely to do as Cesc, Wilshere, etc seem to be above him in the pecking order for that position, then we can replace him with a more effective player on the left in the summer.

If you read my posts I've been sayign since the moment he joined he's been played in the wrong position. Arshavin shouldn't be asked to track back - that's not what's he about.QuartzGooner wrote:Have you read any of my posts on AA?selsdon wrote:If u can't see that AA is world class there's little point having a discussion with ya

You criticising him for not being able to perform a role he's never been asked to do in his career.
According to quartz this is the only the second time this season he's turned up for us.BournemouthRED wrote:He is world class, i dont think hes been anyhwhere near his best but hes got an impressive number of assists and goals already! Luxury Player: Usually a world class or very good skilled player who does fuck'all in terms of teamwork but can and will produce a piece of magic by scoring or assisting a goal at any moment e.g. Cristiano(Lady boy), Ibrahimovic, Cantona, Arshavin, Ronaldinho.
Note: These players can put in a shift if they feel like it but really they can't be arsed.

Tracking-back wasn't what Henry was about either, but he still did it because he had the desire, passion and work ethic to do so.selsdon wrote:Arshavin shouldn't be asked to track back - that's not what's he about.
I'm in the 'excellent but lazy player' camp. I'm not asking him to go galloping downfield to chase a lost ball, but he doesn't usually go chasing even if it's still in the top third of the pitch. And as has been covered in this thread, he doesn't exactly pick himself up with any urgency.
