Now's the time

to play our strongest available team in every game. We're in a position not many of us expected at the start of the season and there's four months to go. If 21/25 year olds can't play two games a week fom here on in then there's something seriously wrong with them and they can come and work in my dreary cold boring shithole for five days a week :?
What's the point in resting "key players" if, by the time they next get back in the first team we've gone out of a couple of cups and panic has set in. A fresh, rested Cesc in April is no use if we're five points behind the mancs in the league and out of everything else but maybe if we got a lead over them and are still involved in the important cups we could get through the odd game without him and a couple of the other major influential players in the side as the confidence will carry the others through without them in the odd game here and there. I just hope we aint going to blow it through tinkering in the games we think we should win regardless of what team we put out.

I think we will play our best 11 in The Premiership and obviously Champions League regularly. I am not sure about FA Cup though, but I think we'll have stronger line-ups when we can smell the final. Arsene is no Rafa so I can't see him rotating in the Premiership much because rhythm and continuity is key to us.

Think your right Khalid. He has said that Jens will play in FA cup matches and I'm sure 1 or 2 others will get a chance in FA cup but in prem league I think it will be our best from now till the end.

It wouldn't make sense to play the same starting XI from now until May. There is risk of injury, suspension fatigue etc.

Wenger is smart enough to know when it is possible to rest players in the Premiership, and will probably play a weakened side for the FA Cup (But not as weak as League Cup). The only competition in which we can say that our top XI will play every match from here to the end of the season is the Champions League.

Le boss has said on the club website that the league and CL are the priorities. We'll have a very good idea waht this means by Tuesday as we can see the differnt teams for the FA cup and League against Newcastle. having said that he also says we are down to 17 fit players so not much scope for change.

and what would the point be of getting to April if our players are not fit to make a fight for the title? We don't need to do a Liverpool but our players will need a rest at times when we have enough fit players to cover
