Is Arsene serious ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We were robbed when a penalty wa given for a dive outside the box... and we were robbed for a blatent handball not given. Not you chose not too see this, yes it was a poor own goal, but we were robbed.
When you put out a clearly almost reserve team, you bolster the opposition and you lose the right to f'ing moan about it later.

We've benefitted from diving penalties before so no point in crying over that. The handball was a bit similar to the one Fabregas did againts L'pool at the Grove last year against the scousers. The penalty would have earned them a point.

We dropped points because of AW.

What was your excuse for the defeats at home to Newcastle, WBA, Tottenham and what's your excuse for failing to finish top of our champ league group?

And while we're on the subject of Wigan, whose fault was it we lost 3-2 there last when leading 2-0 with 10 to go, the groundsman's?

Wenger should have capitalised on the momentum of Chelsea, gone out with his strongest squad, worked on our goal difference and THEN rested players. 3 points is 3 points so it insults Wigan to send reserves out. Send out the team thats beaten Chelsea and they're scared. Send out our reserves and theyre riled up. Now all that buzz from 2 days ago is lost. And from the man who created the invincibles, a feat based entirely on momentum.
Spot on BT
the same amount of points were available tonight as would be on saturday. What did Walcott and RVP need a rest for they have hardly played in the last 3 months. If i was a Wigan player i would have been shitting myself after the Chelsea game then i see 8 changes to that Arsenal side

I met your Brazilian friends at Wigan tonight.

One of the girls was very tasty ( :-P ) and BG was a really nice chap (and shorter than me :barscarf: )

Shit result but your compatriots seemed to enjoy themselves and they had great seats!

Wenger is treating us like a bunch of three yrs old kids. It's unbelievable that he can keep spouting all these bullshit with no sense of shame at all.

Why is it unbelievable - the Board is 100% behind whatever the policy is and whoever is responsible for it. They may use our money to pay him but make no mistake he works for them, and so they must be happy with the job he is doing now.

Both sides have to share the blame. Wenger keep making profits but throwing away our chances of winning titles and yet the board are happy with that.
