NOSIEST FANS AT THE GROVE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They were surprisingly quiet yesterday were'nt they, both inside and outsdie the ground. I don't think I've ever seen geordie fans so docile. I thought they'd be going mental now they've got "king Kev" back. I think the noisiet away fans I can think of at the new ground were from that eastern european team who's name escapes me at the moment :? It was last season anyway, I can remember that much

Not pompy, they only really have that 1 guy with the bell.
but its hard to say really, I'd imagine it would be a champs league team from eastern europe/russia.

  :?
MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE A SEAT NEAR THE AWAY FANS BUT I THOUGHT THE NEWCASTLE FANS WERE SUPERB YESTERDAY. THEY TOTALLY OUT-SUNG THE ARSENAL FANS FROM THE FIRST MINUTE UNTIL WE WRAPPED THE MATCH UP WITH THE SECOND GOAL. INDEED, AFTER THAT GOAL I THOUGHT IT WAS IRONIC THAT THE GOONERS WERE SINGING "WE FORGOT THAT YOU WERE HERE!" TO THE NEWCASTLE SUPPORTERS AS IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE MATCH!!

I THOUGHT ASTON VILLA FANS WERE REALLY LOUD LAST SEASON AND MAN UNITED ALWAYS MAKE GOOD NOISE AWAY FROM HOME.

its not hard to outsing us at the emirates to be honest. the red action do a great job but if arsenal turned round and said everyone that want to sing and stand up go and sit in that stand and those that want to sit down and hush the gums sit that side, i feel this would make the emirates atmosphere rise alot. any thoughts on that suggestion?

Not many people can beat us away though.

IT WAS A SUGGESTION MADE BY SOME OF US IN THE SUMMER BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE CLUB JUST WON'T DO IT. THEY WILL COME UP WITH LOGISTIC REASONS WHY IT ISN'T POSSIBLE, AND ALTHOUGH THEY SHOULD, DO YOU THINK THEY REALLY CARE AS LONG AS THE TICKET MONEY ROLLS IN?

They must keep asking a load of private business and personal questions

Just tell them to mind their own

Dont like to admit it but West Ham werent bad even though they sing the same song over and over again. Away we create a good atmosphere, but at home like yesterday; the crowd in the corner do well- think it is red action but generally it needs to improve hence the reason why i prefer away days...

I agree, West ham were pretty goood to be fair.

Slavia Prague were the best tho, if only all fans were like them!

According to a Fulham Season ticket holder, Arsenal's away support last weekend were the best they have seen at the cottage. Just a bit of infor that suits this thread. I was there and wold agree its one of the best away atmophere ive whitnessed this season
