Paintball

Anyone here done paintball before?

I'm goin' tomorrow.

Yeah:
1. dont get hit it hurts

2.Use cover as much as possible and dont piss all your ammo away.

3.dont bother with paint grenades - they are shite in general

4. smoke grenades are very useful depending on the situation

5. make sure you buy plenty of paintballs so your not caught short

6. Be aware - people will keep on shooting you even when they arent meant to (if your hit) so dont walk right into the thick of it if your out of the game.

7. Wear boots or old trainers you dont mind ruining.

yeh,dont get shot,it hurts, just hide at the back, also people on ur team mite try and shoot u for a laugh

The time I went there were all these people who go every week who think they are real military generals. They kept trying to order me and my mates "do this, dont do this, stay there and dont do anything". So I eventually left my team and just shot at anything that moved. It's a much more fun way.

Tip - Dont get shot in the grill in the mask wear you breathe out of, as you'll swallow the paint at wont be able to take the mask off to spit or clean until the whole game as finished. And the paint doesnt taste good

Take an old rag so that if you get shot you can rub the paint mark and pretend it is an old hit. Cheating yes but keeps you in the game longer

I find threatening actual physical viloence while discreetly showing a kosh up your sleeve before the game starts helps!

Also say things like...."personally I am more used to using an Uzi or a Beretta for the close range stuff"!

I went once and found that my shots were going high in the practise warm-up. I decided that during the real action I was going to aim lower and the games wasnt on 10 mins and I nearly seperated one of my buddies from one of his valued testicles

Mind you I got shot myself on the forehead just above my goggles and it bled & hurt like hell - not so funny(great craic though)

wear gloves cos if u get hit in the hand it KILLS!!! in your last game, if you have loads of ammo, be a sport and go on a rampage as well, it hurts but its funny as hell

Well I'm back and some of you (maybe) might possibly kind of be happy that I survived....

Copped a few good shots though.

Worst one was on my throat though. But I have plenty of other bruises I paid money to earn myself.

fucking run for your life !!!!!!!!!! i got hit in the head once and that was enough for me to stay in the trench for the rest of the game haha
