As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
He saved a penalty against Reading a few days ago and kept 4 clean sheets in 7 starts. Hull fans absolutely love him, they're raving about him on their message boards.
Hull apparently are in talks to keep him for the season, but if Coco the clown finally fucks off next month, we'll be short in the 'keeper department.

He got injured in the 89th minute of his last game against Reading - he has made some cracking saves and his presence seems to settle down our back four. He was an ever present in an recent 8 game unbeaten run. We would have loved to have kept him but have now brought in Brad Guzan from Villa, which suggests that his injury may be slightly worse than it looked at first.
Difficult to say whether he has Premier class, playing for City behind Kamil Zayette is always going to present challenges that don't occur in the Premier League. His only real cock-up was to punch the ball into McShane's back which presented Reading with their equaliser.
Oh and Jay Simpson has started to look like a striker again.
Happy New Year gooners - a fleeting visit while I was waiting for the proceedings to get underway in Sydney
But he will have crossed the white line to put his hat in the ring and look into the whites of the eyes of at least three chairmen in the last week or so now the Championship manager merry go round has started. He'll be back - his CV still reads
Year 1 - avoid relegation to Div III having been appointed in November with the club 23rd
Year 2 - promotion
Year 3 - Survival in the toughest league in the world (TM Sky)
Nigel Pearson has to be the complete antithesis of Brown - the most dull man in football

Without wishing to sound like sour grapes, I think I rather prefer the Championship. Had we survived the the premier league for say two more seasons, the best we could look forward to would be an existence like say Wigan or Blackburn, relatively small town club, always more likely to be relegated than to challenge the top four.
There is a reasonable prospect of a win in any Championship game and hence no reason to resort to damage limitation football as so many do in the Prem.
If we were able to go up again, I would much prefer that we took an approach of taking the money and sticking with the Paul Collingwoods that took us up rather than trying to recruit Kevin Pitersen, whose only interest is to suck the club dry.
