A baffling signing and smells of a publicity stunt by spurs. An ego thing for Redknapp and Spurs mainly. Why sign him? makes no sense

Think you could be right.

Nothing against Beckham, who has been a great ambassador for the game, but I'm not convinced he's up to it anymore - not in the Premier League.
