Chin up Spurs
Chin up Spurs
I know we have some Spurs lurkers on the board so chin up lads, at least you're going to Wembley when it matters - in February!
Just to think the media almost had us believe that Spurs were revived after beating the Arsenal reserves. See what happens when Spurs come up against a full Premiership side. United looked like they had 2 more gears today too, shame they didn't really turn it on.
Shame, I would have liked Spurs to have gone through to ease our path to the final and perhaps let us avenge the 1-5 defeat at the lane, but as the old song goes.... "Que Sera Sera".
Rob.

Seeing as that final did mean something to us last season I'd put it this way
It could have been worse....... Arsenal could have gone 9 years and 22 games without a win against Spurs, could have lost 6 of their previous 8 semi-finals against them could have gone 6 years without reaching a major final or 9 years without winning one. gone 24 years without a european trophy, we might not have finished above them for 13 years, we might have NEVER qualified for europes premier club competition or gone 47 years without a league title, we might have had to watch them win the league twice on our pitch ...........but we didn't THEY DID........Forever in our shadow.
