As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Apparently the reason Song changed it in the first place is because he wanted to attract more attention. Well Mr Cauliflower-Head, you certainly succeeded in that!!
Doesn't the guy realise that the best way to get a higher profile and attention - of the good kind - is by performing his job properly on the pitch?
2 things
a) Songs new position I surely the managers responsibility not his...?
(on a board where everyone loves slating our greatest ever manager I'm surprised another chance to slate him is being missed)
b) Song's new position has won us more points than it has cost us.

3 things:
a) Yes it is, although there is such a thing as taking personal responsibility and/or doing what's best for the team
c) To say Song's new position has won has more points than it cost us debatable. Yes, he has scored more goals this season; but he's also been missing more often from the position where he would benefit the team most - stopping our defence getting over-whelmed by the opposition counter-attack.

Are you seriously having a go at someone because of their hair. WTF has his hair style got to do with you.
And F.A.O. the hard of thinking!! Song is not a DM ......he's a MID-FIELD-ER, and a very good one at that

Don't normally respond to you (and shall not be making a habit of it), but I'll make an exception this time:
It's Song's attitude of wanting more attention and thus dyeing his hair for that sole purpose, rather than his actual hair style that I'm having a go at!! Selfish of me I know, but I'd prefer he made himself more famous via the quality of his performances, rather than the colour or style of his barnet!!
Song might well want to be classified now as a all-round midfielder, but the fact remains that the defensive part of the role is what he's best at. Plus he's the only one currently available to the team that is good enough to do it, thus my reference to personal sacrifice. Seeing as you made mention of people being 'hard of thinking' - was that really too difficult for you to understand?

If you saw the original interview Song explained that he had his hair changed because his wife struggled to make out which player was Song on the pitch so he wanted to stand out so it was easier for her.
