He has played 4 games in 10 days. Think he deserves a bit of rest.

Yeah, how dare we expect to come and play football :banghead: No shots on target
No shots on target, so fucking what, they came to do a job and done it, how many shots on target did we have in the final in 2005, come to think of it you probably werent even born

2006 Champions League run even.

The sad fact is this match was overhyped from the beginning, it matter fuck all in fact. Even if we won we were always going to lose again several times before the end of May, and that is a fact.

Only an utterly deluded person would expect this team to go away to:
Spurs
Blackpool
Bolton
Stoke
West Ham
Newcastle
West Brom
Fulham

And win at least 7, while also beating United . Impossible and it always was.

It's time to wake up and smell the coffee, anyone who thought we had a easy run in is an idiot, why only last season we had an easy run in and what happened there? Wigan, Blackburn etc embarrassed us.

United are unbeaten and while they will lose a few games, they can well afford to. They have had this league wrapped up since Chelsea's demise.

Fergue will be pissing himself right now.

I'd be more inclined to agree had we won. We'd have been in second alone - only two back of united (though they would have the match in-hand) but we also would have been clear of city and had a match in-hand on them and no six-pointers against them six clear of s***s and seven clear of Chelsea. Would have been in position to challenge for the trophy and no real worries about finishing below maybe second even. Now we're as close to fifth as first really.

Obviously not, because we just failed to score against a team who were only willing to defend.
Shitty's 11 man defence plus our 10 man attack ? 21 players on the pitch ? F*cking right we'd dominate the league  8)

I don't see what Chamakh would've added to our game. He can't finish either, and we can't cross. He would've been useless.

I think against 11 men constantly closing you down preventing the long shot and doubling up on your players in the box to stop the one-twos, all you can do is try and cross it in and hope Chamakh or Oliver Bierhoff will get something on it.

Shame neither were playing really.

Theo Walcott's attitude on the pitch was tremendous to watch and it really encourages supporters to react. Atmosphere sounded fantastic tonight and very gutted to have missed the game despite it being 0-0

Song had a good game, others performed well too. Not an ideal result for us but a point isn't a disaster. 4 points off top spot in January isn't a bad situation.

Was anyone else about half-a-second behind on SS2 coverage? I heard the post rattle twice before the ball was at the 6 yard line!

Look at a tape of us under Graham. I applaud City's defensive display, top class. They came for a draw and got it, fair play to them.
Wenger had 90 minutes to react, again failed in fact taking off our best attacker in Walcott for the back heeling circus act Arshavin.

The only consolation is we now know for sure this bunch of clowns won't win the league, United have it sewn up already and it's only January.
You'd rather watch the c**t Ferguson who would shoot his own mother in the back for a win and feel proud of it celebrate another trophy? Really?
I actually think this is one of your best posts on this forum, keep it short and simple Martin and you'll go far  :barscarf:
