IPSWICH AWAY PRE MATCH DRINKS..................

IPSWICH AWAY PRE MATCH DRINKS..................

Post by mattyj3nks »

where is everyone planning on going before the match for drinks?

im travelling down from the midlands at lunchtime with a couple of friends so am wanting to find out where everyone is going as ive been told that the pub which used to be for away fans is home supporters only.

i think it would be good if there was somewhere we were planning to meet to get a good atmosphere going.

any thoughts/suggestions would be very much appreciated

matt

Station Hotel will be the spot and the name kinda gives away where it's located

Only other possible alternative is the Fayre & Square (formerly punch & judy). Not sure if they allow away fans now though

im sure thats the pub that i was told was home fans only.

looks like the station hotel is the place to be then....any idea if they will let arsenal fans in with colours showing or around the ground/town is it better to cover colours up?

never been to ipswich before but am sure someone on here will be able to advise me...

The pub you are referring to (that's home fans only) is the drum & monkey

You'll be fine showing your colours. Station hotel is only a short walk to the stadium.

Get well souped up :drunk: before you go in cause there's no beers at half-time

the tennis clique will be in the coque & racket for prematch rimming from 4pm. I'm sure it will be very "loud" and "boistrous". :barscarf:

What time is most people getting there?
