Someone will get the sack soon

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hodgson will go first imo, Grant will follow if he loses one of the FA Cup 3rd round tie or against us in the league, don't think they'll sack him if he doesn't get a good result against Brum in the CC 1st Leg

Sky Sports News showed Avram Grant's record with West Ham earlier today, and it's not actually that bad:

P26, W8, D8, L10.

Okay, so they'll hardly be challenging for the title anytime soon, but that record - over the course of a season - would be enough for them to survive the drop.

If that record continued down the same line, they'd end up with 46 points. Fulham finished with that points tally last season, and came 12th.

But that includes their run to the Carling Cup semi finals. His league record will have four less wins, which suddenly looks somewhat less impressive.

True, but the fact that Grant's pulled four wins out of the bag in the League Cup demonstrates that he is capable of winning games. And they beat Sunderland, Stoke and Man Utd along the way.

Dalglish is taking over. They really are a fucking joke club still stuck in the 70s and 80s. Cue loads of mouthy scousers all over the news banging on about the glory days returning. Hope it goes just as successfully as Keegan's return to Newcastle.

I love their fans on another forum talking about waiting until the summer for when better candidates will be available.

O'Neill's available now, given they won't even have European football next season never mind CL football I suggest he's as good as they can get anyway.
