Normally he'd just give up and jog back into position which for me indicates that he has finally grown up as a player and is making progress with each passing game.

Add to this the huge threat he poses going forward and we have a player on our hands. He's a real asset for us and will only get better and better.
The only problem with Theo is has he hit his ceiling? I man can he much better and more effetctive out wide on the right than he is now?

He is wasted it out threre. He is not the great sort of ce=reative player who whips in brilliant cross after brilliant cross(and if he was who would head them home anyway now that Chamakh has been placed in asecret prison), or cutting bck pass after pass to be tapped home like Thierry Henry did so well and so often.

Theo even last night is more dangerous by far playing thorugh the middle as a more traditional center forward where his pace allows him to be more direct and gives him fewer options to have to choose or try to read ahead of choosing them. Both the goal he laid on for Cesc and his Goal against the chavs cam from cutting inside and attcking through the center-forward channel. His best chances last night again came through there.

I am not sure he is big enough to do it all year long and stay fit but that is really his only real position. He can do about an adequate job out wide really and that's it. He can be a bit of a problem out wide for oppoenets. He is potentially a genuine menace playing through the middle for them. Not another Henry, but certainly he could be another Owen if utilized properly.

Sell the lazy podgster now while we can stil recoup some of our outlay on him.

Sorry but Arshavin has been totally overhyped and the four goals at Anfield only went to serve his already enormous ego.

Never really taken to him despite his obvious talent and he never really wanted to be at Arsenal in my opinion.

Really?

Van Persie wasted hatfull of chances against Brum (for which, I have no doubt, Arshavin would be crucified on this forum) and against Shitty was clearly our worst player...utterly selfish, out of pace, as for work rate - that does not win you anything and it never will, otherwise Wolves would be top of the table.

If you still thinjk I'm talking rubbish, try remembering at least 3 great performances by Van Persie in Arsenal shirt...

But, no, let's get rid of player with most assists for Arsenal this season, because he's not backtracking enough...utter bollox.

No. This little wanker thinks he is bigger then the club, go and be 'magic' in a shit league because you're not good enough to play for arsenal.

Beginning to really hate him. At least rosicky puts a shift in.

I don't think they were. It's just that if they weren't to his feet he just left them. The only time he ran during the game was when he thought he was being taken off!

I'm done with the fucking lazy Russian *word censored*, I knew as soon as he was in 1 on 1 in the first half he'd shoot at the 'keeper, what did he do? shoot at the fucking 'keeper. :banghead:

If Juventus want him they can fucking have him, maybe we could swap for someone good like Amauri.

Summed up when he tried to sprint off to be substituted when in fact it was Chamackh coming off. Once the 50% tax thing came in Arshavin has stopped playing. And some on here still declare him world class?? Sweet fucking lord.

Exactly!

We've got many worse players than Arshavin but what makes him so much more frustrating is that he has so much ability but he plays like he just doesn't give a fuck.

His Arsenal career is a mirror image of Adebayor's -

good when he first joined,
scored some great & important goals,
crowd adopt him as a favourite,
crowd invent a song for him,
his ego runs away with him,
he stops trying and thinks he's the most important bloke about.

I wonder when Man Citeh will put in a bid for him?

It takes some performance to be worse than Bendtner,Denilson and Rosicky but the fat meerkat managed it today. Utter shit, zero work rate for 88 minutes of pretty much every game. He simply shouldn't be starting games at the moment as he doesn't warrant a place.
