As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Jägermeister, unattended for years, is now one of the most popular shots along the Reeperbahn and the rest of Germany

MAYbe, but we will have loads more on the possession count and that's the important thing
We just need some drive from midfield, be it from Nasri, Ramsey, Jack or Cesc and thay will not be able to live with us.
Stick with the "industrious" Denilson with the pedestrian Rosicky, the can't be arsed Arshavin and they have a decent chance of nullifying us.
GO FOR IT ARSENE - make the 2nd leg a formality.
Go fairly strong. Some other strong player on the bench.
Kill the game early 2-0/3-0 first half and then rest players in the 2nd half.
We should still be able to extend our lead and finish the tie early.
Looking at our games for the rest of January. Ipswich Away, West Ham Away, Leeds Away, Wigan Home, Ipswich Home, Huddersfield home (providing we beat Leeds) There is plenty plenty opportunity for squad rotatation, there is no need for it too be so drastic though!
I'd like to think Wenger would go stronger for the first leg and win the tie in the first leg, Fabregas, Van Persie, Walcott, Nasri, Wilshere all to start, Gibbs and Eboue to continue with the same Keeper, Kos and Djourou at center half and either Denilson, Eastmond, Rosicky or Ramsey in the middle of Midfield.
Could be a big Month for us, a Carling cup final, FA Cup 5th round spot and very winnable league points up for grabs
Isnt it shocking that some fans are suggesting that we field a stongish line up for this game ? Against a team that got walloped 7-0 yesterday ? It says a lot about the confidence (or lack thereof) that we have in our "back up" players that we cant even bank on beating a team near the bottom of the cola championship
Can you imagine the embarrasment and backlash if they even held us to a draw in this game ? Doesnt bear thinking about
Anyway 0-3 to the Arsenal regardless of what team we put out
ipswich are shite in fairness but will be well up for the first leg, lets beat them well and then worrry about the home game and who should be started or rested.

But we tried that against Championship Leeds on Sat and look where that got us. So much for resting players/rotation etc...We've now got another game to play.
Personally go out strong and kill the game as quickly as possible. Then make early subs resting key players and just play keep ball whilst seeing if we can further take the two ties beyond them.
There's no way we'll lose or even lose by a big margine at the Grove so that will be a researve training match.
