It's all your fault that mad Jens is staying!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's all your fault that mad Jens is staying!

Jens on the club website
"Those are the reasons why I decided to stay here.

Lehmann also revealed that his 'special' relationship with the supporters was a big factor.

"Yes, they [the fans] played a big role in my decision. I’ve had a fantastic time here — soon after I arrived we went unbeaten for 49 games so I was lucky to build up a special relationship with the supporters.
   :?

I would feel proud to be associated with the fans that helped keep mad jens here 8) Now all I need is for bedtner to break up almunia in training so that the mad 1 can return, show the world that he can still cut it and lead us forward with a vengence

Would like to see more of Jens, I doubt his love for the fans will keep him here in the summer though.

I think he is great and do think he has been slightly hard done by. However we all kmnow the reason he is staying is not due to the fans or his love for ther club its because he will not get NEAR the money we pay him from anywhere else

Do love Jens for his upfront voice and outspoken personality, but possibly AW has learnt from his mistakes with Seaman. Those 2 early, and deffo costly Vs Blackburn, nearly Vs Fulham errors selaed the deal for ze German this year. He ain't getting back in the team unless England's No1 picks up an injury. As has been said, FA Cup will be his swansong.
