Why don't we go with mostly full strength, get a good few goals, then rest players afterwards.

Anything else and we end up with the Leeds scenario again :banghead: .

The Ipswich players might be playing with shackles off and for places with the new manager in the stands and the crowd behind them.

Ipswich may be a shit team but with our forward line of Bender and the lazy russian, I wouldn't get too cocky.

A trophy's a trophy we can't cock this up.

That's the way anyone with a brain would go. Start with your strongest 11 then make changes when you've got a commanding lead.

With Wenger though, who knows! Providing we get there, I can imagine him playing the reserves in the final because "we have Barcelona a week later" :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Leeds were a far stronger proposition than Ipswich and we also have a second leg should things not go as planned.

With that in mind I would be amazed if he put a stronger side than on Saturday. I think he should play the like of Arshavin again as even he should be motivated in a semi final against a team struggling around the Championship basement. Bendtner as well as he needs a confidence boost.

Once again, I think we'll have a strong bench. But I think there should be a few more (not less) reserves/youth in the starting line up.

If AW puts out Saturday's shower of shite we'll lose.

If AW puts out first 11 we SHOULD scrape a draw.

Thats how confident I am.

I'm going to the second leg and I can say now, after the shit on Saturday I'm not so sure of a hammering than I was before.

Its a new low when we're not even sure of our team beating Ipswitch.

Ipswitch 0-3 Arsenal in the first leg.

Sorry, but that's b*ll*cks! We have the second best away record in the prem of P11 W6 D3 L2 F20 A11. Contrast that with the fact that only two teams in the Championship have lost more home games than Ipswich.

With the insurance policy of a home leg to come then we should be able to win this without risking our first 11.....

tbf to Wenger that team should have been good enough to beat Leeds.

But I'ld imagine the players will want to be involved. Some have had Saturday off so I would hope that a few players will be back in. Start Fabregas and Theo, win this leg well and then rest them for the second leg

I notice that one of the few games that Ramsey played while on loan at Forest was getting booked in a 1-0 win at Portman Road earlier in the month....

Sorry, but you're talking double bollocks! You're in cuckoo land if you think that Saturday's mob can beat Ipswich!

Shaq was teaching me some new skills, I might use them on wednesday. The rest of the day I was pushing baby dolls around the house with Dina
