WENGER PLEASE DO THE DECENT THING...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And then he made his usual 'inspired' substitutions, not dictated to by the circumstances, but by what it said on the clock!!!

Just noticed Wenger's latest (and usual) excuse for last night's disaster... FATIGUE...

It got me thinking to Brian Talbot, who in the 79-80 season played every game that season, possibly nearly 70 games, he was a midfield, box to box player, who worked his bollocks off, on boggy terrible pitches, different, possibly heavier boots, they also pissed it up and ate terribly..... but never moaned of fucking FATIGUE...

:banghead:

I've used that Talbot example before, on a most underated Arsenal thread. Bloke was a machine.

He was part of the Arsenal era I fell in love with - now 40 yrs on his modern day equivalent is Denilson.

Says it fucking all.
