IPSWICH AWAY PRE MATCH DRINKS..................

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

this is what you get for being brainless unimaginative sheep.

i went to cracking local boozer 15 min walk from ground. choice of several real ales-food before and after game. no problems getting served even though busy-no problems with locals happy to talk to us and made us welcome. most before game were going to the match and most laughed when i told them where i thought the sheep were heading.

apart from match a very successful trip.

dear oh dear

appears i touched a raw nerve.

for away games especially, trying new pubs different beer is, strangely enough, for many who are not unimaginative sheep, part of the match day experience.

dont blame me for your miserable time before and after match simply because you happen to be brainless sheep.

Had a great time before the game and I come to expect games like this now so wasn’t miserable after the game. What I don’t like is wums like you calling other fellow gooners sheep and brainless just because we don’t drink ale.

If you like ale that’s fine mate. Don’t start calling people names just because others don’t share your passion for fine ale.

It’s a matter of preference and taste. Do you drink coke? Well that is fuelled with chemicals. Do you eat fruit at supermarkets? That is sprayed with chemicals. Just because we the fucking public chose to drink lager doesn’t make us fucking morons or brainless sheep.

Though its alright for you to brag about how much you drink. I certainly don’t think its anything to boast about.

Station Hotel was bouncing! If only the players were as up for it as the fans were! The blonde behind the bar was a cracking little sort as well! A quality away day barring the obvious!

The unfortunate one.

The atmosphere in there was pretty good, although rather cramped but that was obviously expected.

And for the fucker who queued up for 10 mins only to get to the bar and buy a fucking can of coke. Ffs. :banghead:
