As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I know there is a twitter thread but its in the depths of the basement and this is topical and relevant (as was BT's thread).
Where the players were tweeting their thoughts etc was quite interesting, but now our sheep have been silenced by the club and it appears it will become like pravda.........

No he wont ban it but it will be closely regulated by the club now.
Up until now Chesney has posted his thoughts on refereeing decisions etc and even Cesc questioned a penalty decision in comparison to the one given against him.
I reckon now all it will be is thanks for your support and come on you gunners, and do you remember Carlos Vela's hattrick!
I dont do twitter but i know how it all works. But is this the way that the players communicte to each other during games?
"Who's marking him?"
"Hold up, just logging in to see what Arsene recommeneds!!"
Kids Eh!!!
Players will still use it, most of what they say is very sanitised and consists of Henri Lansbury telling us he likes Nandos, and Jack Wilshere expressing his joy at a high score on Call of Duty.
Hopefully though we will no longer read any more in the tone of JET's tweets containing such gems as (paraphrased) "Keep talking blud and you will get a puncture wound in your chest".

I swear - I DON'T tweet
Maybe if you did it would aid you in writing in a concise manner

Martin your the sole reason there is a character limit on Twitter
Looks like Schezney will have his wings clipped in the next few weeks:
Football365.com:
Wenger is not in favour of banning his players from using Twitter, but wants them to be wary about what they say.
"It is a new way of expressing your views," Wenger told Arsenal.com. "It can be used by the players in a positive way but, in this special case (with Babel), it was in a negative way.
"Personally I'm against banning the players from expressing their views in general. But it has to be in the interests of the club and not detrimental.
"Of course it can be very useful to a club as well so we are thinking about [sitting down with the players] and seeing how it can be used in the best way.
"I don't like to go against progress because usually it's a lost battle but maybe we have to sit together and see how we can use this in the best possible way.
It's a fair point that Herd and from what Schezney writes on there it's only a matter of time before he's up in front of the FA on a disciplinary.
Should be like Cesc. All you get from him is "good morning" "big game tonight" "thanks for your support" "support the flood victims" in various languages!
