I REMEMBER LISTENING TO HIS LATE NIGHT RADIO SHOW ON LBC BEFORE HE BECAME REALLY FAMOUS. VERY FUNNY GUY WITH LOSTS OF WIND-UPS AND ALSO VERY CLEVER AND KNOWLEDGABLE. THOUGHT BEADLE'S ABOUT WAS A GREAT PROGRAMME IN IT'S FIRST FEW YEARS.
BY THE WAY, HE WAS DEFINATELY A GOONER. SEEN HIM AT GAMES AND HEARD HIM TALK ABOUT ARSENAL ON RADIO AND TV.
P.S. (WHAT'S HAPPENED TO ALL THE AVATARS AND EMOTICONS?)
