As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
No, I'm not joining in the race in beating Reb to the match day threads (yet :barscarf) but I'm wondering who's going to this game and what block any of you lot are in?
I'm in the North Bank, Block 8.
Semi-final second leg, 1-0 down, 1 game away from Wembley we need to at least try and get the place going. Every home game seems to be getting worse and worse. No doubt the day trippers won't sing and just sit there, doing nothing to try and motivate the team into the final.

imo the atmos will be pretty good for the first 20 minutes, but will turn completely sour if we're not back in the tie after an hour or so, or we miss a few chances, or we concede. At which point half the fans will be on everyone's case and it'll get really hostile.

Cast your mind back to May 2009 and the Champions League game versus United, I doubt there were many "day trippers" there that night seen as it only went down to Silver members

Your right though, this needs to be loud.
Totally forgot mine as well. I was reluctant to be elsewhere but had a look online.
I managed to book the same row as my ST and only 4 seats along!
Ticket came today.

Would be nice to think we'd have a good old Big Highbury game atmosphere but will gladly settle for something like the Citeh game . Reckon Zippy is right though , if it ain't going to plan , the frustrations of being within
touching distance of a long over due Wembley day out will come to the surface and the grief will roll down from the stands . Think it's going to be edgy as can't see us scoring more than two with the probable rotation and then we might have to hang on a bit , so cue more tension from all around .
Alternatively we get our act together , get a little of a bit of a cushion and the 'Ole's' begin Me , I'm all on for a few renditions of ... ' She wore , she wore , she wore a Yellow Ribbon ..... '

But this game went down to General Sale.
My point is that day trippers are generally blamed for the lack of atmosphere but in a massive game that only went on sale to ST holders down to Silver members the place emptied at half time.

You do have a good point, but its those ST holders and Silver members who sing and chant regardless of walking out early or not *which I never see the point of my self unless you really do need to be somewhere*
Got in Block 6. Hoping I don't sit down. Although I stood all game against City a few weeks back and it was still dead. Anyone else behind the goal in the Clock End who didn't sit down?

Blocks 5 & 6 never sit....unless your further to the front.
After 5 years worked out the other month that the flappy bit is to sit on! Whatever next!?
