Defending the defenceless NICK BENDTNER

End of the day bad form I understand. But being a lazy good for nothing arrogant big headed *word censored* who doesn’t put 100% effort in I don’t get.

Never see that useless wanker run around or show any passion at all. That smug smile on his face while he chews his game shows a lack of respect.

Playing out of position, so what. Poor Barry earning 60k and he has to play on the wing with one of the biggest clubs in the world without showing any kind of form.

Poor Barry who has countless chances to show what he can do and never does, even when he is in the middle.

Poor Barry who cant work hard to get in a game when it came be done as Cham has shown when he plays his heart out.

Fuck Barry, he deserves no support until the wanker shows some us some hard graft. I am not saying he has to score goals to prove it, but show us that he cares and that he is willing wo work so hard that he comes off the pitch out of fucking breath rather than smiling chewing his fucking gum.

He is an out and out center forward ,not a winger or a midfielder and yet he gets slated here constantly when its out fault we dont make the most of his talents .
Whenever he does play he has to play the push and run that the team plays however when he plays for Denmark (and I go or see most of their games) he plays as a lone target man striker with a back up from a link man and a team that will commit bodies in the box for crosses it works very well .

When he does play for us and we to play to him rather than stupid 1/2's through packed defenses he does ok and he is a good finisher.

Those who slag him conveniently forget that he is used nearly always ,when the 2nd string is on duty and that we know isn't a team that is good enough.

He's leagues better than Chamakh in my opinion yet all i ever read on here is negative shit about him,I don't understand it ?
Other than he is lazy,he's arrogant, has the first touch of a baby elephant and is a worse finisher than Stevie Wonder i agree with you  Hes the new Lee Chapman

Better than Chamakh  the striker who carried our attack for the first half of the season.Dream on.

We need to get rid, doesn't mean I think hes a bad player.

I think he would be successful at a club like Stoke and Birmingham where he would get good service. Hes good at heading and gets in to good positions to score.

If we are going to persist with 433 though, he is never going to make it as he is wasted on the wing completely :banghead: and has the touch of a rapist so is no good for us in the lone striker role.

SELL.

Agreed and give we have a better copy of a player in Chamakh I see his days are numbered. I'd prefer a different type of striker to the skillful RVP and the hardworking Chamakh.
A powerhouse player, pace and strength. We desparatly lack pace up front.

RVP and Chamakh my bitch up are no slouches.
What about Wally and Super Sam - as part of a 4-3-3 they are technically playing up front and are as pacey as u can get.

I disagreee about RVP and Chamakh.
How many times have we seen Chamakh turn back when through on goal. Same with RVP would rather bring someone in.
Neither are they blessed with pace to beat someone. RVP gets away with being able to create a bit of magic which makes him some space.

and you can include AA23 in the other list. The problem is that at times (especially with Theo) the wider players beat there man and often the lead striker is no-where to be seen.

Herd my old mate - the fact that you need to start a thread trying to defend old Barry Bender shows that you know deep, deep down he's not actually all that good.

He keeps having bad games cos he's way out of his depth.

He keeps being accused of arrogance cos of the shite he comes out with.

He keeps being accused of arrogance cos on the pitch he can't back up the shite he comes out with.

He keeps being accused of laziness cos his work rate is appalling.

All in all - he's not a goal threat, he doesn't rough up opposing defenders leaving them wound up or worn out. He couldn't track back to save his life. He thinks he's Dennis Bergkamp with his forays into midfield and his poxy little lay offs. He is not up to the standard needed to win trophies.
