Who thinks Eboue is a legend?

Frankly this myth of people overrating Eboue is getting boring. NOBODY has claimed Eboue is a legend.

None of our current players are Arsenal legends, nobody has claimed any different and too start repeating this myth to add effect is getting tiresome.

I seen the same in the Rocastle thread earlier.

did you? ill have to check that out

I cant be fucked searching for it but because of his comedy  and clapping fans and throwing his shirt into the crowd at the end of the matches he has been refered to many times on here as a legend :banghead:

Just a hunch really, hope he proves me wrong, because he could be a fair bit better than Bendtner or Vela, but I get the feeling that in his own mind he may have "made it" already, and not work hard enough for us.
Probably right there, I also feel Wenger is too blame.
Although I rate Bendtner more than most, he has had alot of chances and frankly him and Vela have being given games that JET deserved.

Am I right in saying the only senior game JET has played all year is at the Bridge?

This loan deal is fucking ridiculous.

Cardiff already have Bellamy, Bothroyd, Chopra, Keogh and recently signed Jon Parkin.

Where does JET fit in?

I really dont see what Wenger is doing here, potentially throwing away a whole season of development for the guy.

I used to hate Eboue a few years ago with his stint on the wing. Tbh I like him now, even if he is quite average overall.

The diving doesnt bother me really, I actually think it helps....

Anyone who thinks he is a legend is bonkers though.

Well again this 'Eboue is Legend' nonsense is another symptom of the 'either a *word censored* or a legend' fuckwit-style of thinking.

It's up there with the legendary 'either with us or with the terrorists' or 'man is programmed to do two things - nob and kill'

I would put him ahead of Barry and the mexican anyday! Give the boy a chance. I have watched his games for reserves and he looks good.

Strong, good shot, skill full , nice touch and a good work rate.

Sadly he will be outed becuase of that c**t Barry
His work rate is no better than Bendtner's.

i have no problems with producing a few first team players from time to time, but a few squad players (like bendtner) as well.
of course there will be some duds along the way in any youth academy but it is vastly exagerated how good arsenal are at producing top class youngsters. The facts would say otherwise
Yes but its made us so much money, thats all that matters these days. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

JET will be a good player for Palace in 3 years time :barscarf:
just like wilshere, clichy and cesc, flash?

EDIT: oh, szczesny, song and djourou too
Yep just like them :worried:

Firstly Cesc was a product of Barca's youth system lets not kid ourselves and i think Wilshere, Szezny, Djourou still have a hell of a lot to prove and i personally dont rate Song and think we should buy better and Clichy is hardly pulling up trees in the last 2 years :?

Whats wrong with his post? I disagree with the song bit, but it doesn't mean Im going to hurl abuse at him.

Its not like he said that jack, ws and djourou are crap he said (rightly) that they aren't the finished article yet so we can't be proclaiming that we are a world class talent factory, until the likes of jack, lansbury, gibbs and Jet are all first team regulars.

Djourou, ws and cesc all came to the club at around 16 so not really a product of our youth system.

Eboue approves of this thread.

P.S Flash, when people call Eboue a legend you might want to know that it's done with tongue firmly in cheek and more often than not it's because it winds up those who hate him so much. No one actually thinks he's as good as TH14 or DB10 or TA6 etc...

Try not to take it too seriously
